师生辅导计划

的 师生辅导计划 is here to support students throughout their time at NLC, and until they 完成ir goals by either transferring to a university or entering employment.  Students receive encouragement, support, and guidance toward goal completion from a faculty member.

This program formalizes the crucial interactions between faculty and students to be used in conjunction with a professional advisor with the intention of promoting student retention and completion.

教师 Mentors make a significant impact on our NLC students' lives.

资格: 

  1. Any student who has NLC as their home college can have a faculty mentor.
  2. If you don't have NLC as your home college, click on the links below to visit your home college’s 师生辅导计划.

的 Two Ways to Get a NLC 教师 Mentor

Ask a faculty member to be your mentor:

Learn about the various NLC 教师 Mentors by viewing the 与导师见面 页面. You can directly e-mail or speak with the faculty member and ask them to be your mentor! You must provide your mentor with your first and last name, BannerID, and ACES email.

Complete the 学生问卷调查:

If you are not sure who you would like to be your mentor or do not want to ask a mentor directly, 完成 学生问卷调查. Based off of your responses, you will be matched with an available mentor.

的 问卷调查 also allows you to request specific faculty. Please note that if the requested faculty mentors are not available, you will be matched based on your other responses in the 问卷调查 给最好的导师.

 

Once you are matched to a faculty mentor, the faculty mentor will contact you via your ACES email. This process may take up to two weeks.
