Dr. 劳拉E. Boyer was selected as the Vice President for Academic Success at 澳门新葡京博彩 大学 following a hiring committee interview, meetings with various constituent groups, and open forums with the college community. She was approved by the Board of Trustees at the 五月 15 meeting. Dr. Boyer will begin her appointment at NLC on June 4.

Dr. 劳拉E. Boyer currently serves as the Dean of Institutional Research, Effectiveness and 战略规划 for South Texas 大学 and has 21 years of experience in Higher Education including 18 years in Academic Affairs, and 9 years as an adjunct faculty member. She has in-depth experience providing leadership for accreditation, instructional program development and compliance, course schedule management, learning outcomes assessment, 项目审查. Her educational background includes an Ed.D. in Educational 领导 from Lamar University, a Master of Education in Adult Education from Texas A&M University – Kingsville, and a BA degree in Music and Psychology from the University of the South in Sewanee, 田纳西州.

Dr. Sanchez has an 18-year-old son, Morgan, and a 14-year-old daughter, Abby.
