PAC faculty present best practices at international conference

Joseph Coppola, interim chair in 帕洛阿尔托 大学's (PAC) Professional and Technical Education, and Russ Wagner, Faculty Fellow, have been selected as featured speakers at the Problem-Based Learning 2019 Immersive Virtual International Conference in 7月. The virtual conference features speakers from across the globe to discuss and explore topics and issues about Problem-based Learning and Active Learning Methodologies.

 

PAC students study abroad in Ireland

Students from the 帕洛阿尔托 大学 荣誉项目 are currently learning about and experiencing the natural beauty and rich literary history of Ireland in the program's second Study Abroad session. The trip is based on two Honors courses: Environmental Biology taught by Brad Chandler and English II taught by Caroline Mains. The two-class combination offers students a unique perspective on both classes, giving them an up-关闭 look at the 关闭 ties between the U.S. 和爱尔兰.

 

PAC music instructor and SAC student to attend international jazz conference

The Alamo Jazz Allstars Mentorship is sponsoring 帕洛阿尔托 大学 (PAC) adjunct music instructor Brian Christianson and 圣安东尼奥 大学 (SAC) student Fernando Munoz to travel to Zagreb, 克罗地亚, for the 2019 International Association of Schools of Jazz (IASJ) annual meeting on June 29-7月 5. The IASJ Meeting unites jazz educators and talented students from around the world to attend workshops, 针对, 排练, and build connections. Students will be put into jazz combos where they work on new music to perform.
