Vocational Nursing Program at CTTC New Braunfels Campus Ranks Fourth in Texas

圣. 菲利普的大学 Vocational Nursing Program 在 Central Texas Technology Center (CTTC) in New Braunfels was named fourth in Texas by Practicalnursing.org. Texas nursing programs were assessed on several factors which represent how well a program supports students towards licensure 和 beyond.

The CTTC campus is aligned with the St. 菲利普的大学 Vocational Nursing Program to provide the same educational opportunities for vocational nursing needs in the New Braunfels community. Learning 在 CTTC provides consistent educational experiences where students can concentrate on their studies in a smaller environment.

The Vocational Nursing Program curriculum covers fundamentals of vocational nursing, ethical 和 legal aspects of nursing practice, 营养, 老年医学, communication skills, body structure 和 function, administration of medications 和 solutions, medical 和 surgical nursing, obstetrical nursing, 儿科护理学, mental health nursing, 和 professional development.

In addition to classroom study, students receive supervised laboratory 和 clinical experiences in local long-term care facilities, 诊所, 医院, 和 other health care facilities in 圣安东尼奥和 surrounding communities.
