PAC Dean and Librarian elected into Texas 图书馆 Association office
蒂娜台面, 帕洛阿尔托 大学 (PAC) Dean of Learning 资源, was named chair-elect of the Texas 图书馆 Association (TLA)–大学 and University Libraries Division (CULD). Her three-year term with CULD will include serving as chair-elect in 2019, 2020年主席, and past-chair in 2021. Tosca Gonsalves, PAC图书管理员, was elected to serve a three-year term as Counselor-at-Large in TLA–区 10. TLA was established in 1902 to promote, 支持, and improve library services throughout Texas and is now the largest state library association in the country.

PAC kicks off Fiesta with official PACfest poster reveal
周三, 3月20日, 帕洛阿尔托 大学 (PAC) revealed its official poster and t-shirt for PACfest 2019, an annual official Fiesta ® 圣安东尼奥 event that serves as the 大学's largest fundraiser for student organizations. The annual event will include live music from La Tropa F, Los Chamacos, Raulito Navaira, and more. PACfest is presented by North Park Toyota of 圣安东尼奥 and Silver Eagle Distributors and is sponsored by AARP, CPS能源, Gonzaba Medical Group, 布鲁克斯, Port 圣安东尼奥, and Randolph 布鲁克斯 Federal Credit Union. PAC to co-host assessment conference
帕洛阿尔托 大学 (PAC) will co-host the Texas Association of Higher Education Assessment's annual conference, alongside the University of Texas-圣安东尼奥 and Texas State University, at the Marriott Plaza 圣安东尼奥 on October 1-2, 2019. Faculty and staff are encouraged to submit a proposal to present at the conference. The submission deadline is Monday, April 1.
