联合教职员参议院

序言

澳门新葡京博彩区教师的使命是促进学习. 这种氛围需要对卓越的承诺. 促进学习与卓越需要保管委员会之间的合作与沟通, 政府, 支持人员, 教师和学生. The 澳门新葡京博彩区 联合教职员参议院 was founded as an advisory body to examine issues of concern to the faculty across the 区, 我们致力推广及维护书院及学区的使命及价值观.

第一条:名称

The name of this organization shall be the 澳门新葡京博彩区 联合教职员参议院 and will be referred to as 联合教职员参议院 or UFS.

第二条:目的

第一节. To create an organizational structure to address the common issues and concerns of all members of the faculty across the 澳门新葡京博彩区.

第二节. 创建一个论坛，促进澳门新葡京博彩区教师之间的交流, 交流思想和信息, 讨论问题并提出解决方案.

第三节. 促进参议院领导的专业成长和发展.

第四节. 在计划中提供建议, 学院和澳门新葡京博彩区的政策制定和决策过程

第五节. 就学院关心的问题提出建设性的建议.

第六节. 向本署管理层提出适当的关注事项.

第七节. 对教师福利和职业道德提出建议.

第三条:联合教职工参议院的成员资格

第一节. The 联合教职员参议院' members comprise Faculty Senate Presidents from each of the colleges and the Chairperson of the 区 主席委员会 (Chair of Chairs) if the Chair of Chairs has faculty status.  主席以无表决权的身份担任主席.  如果主席不具有教师身份, 在担任主席的任期内，他们将不再担任联合教职员参议院的成员.

第四条:联合教务委员会的领导

第一节. 所有来自各学院的教职员参议院主席都有资格担任联合教职员参议院主席.

第五条:联合学院参议院选举

第一节. The current and incoming 联合教职员参议院 members will meet each 夏天 to introduce the incoming membership. 到夏季结束时，即将上任的联合教职员参议院成员将投票选举UFS校长.

第二节. UFS校长由联合教员参议院提名. 所有有资格和兴趣的候选人都将表达他们竞选UFS校长的意愿. 一旦所有候选人被确认, a vote is conducted to determine the UFS President and the President is determined by majority decision of the 联合教职员参议院 members.

第六条:教员联合评议会会议准则

第一节. The 联合教职员参议院 will meet monthly during the year for the purpose of creating an agenda for the 联合教职员参议院/Administration meeting and to discuss relevant topics of interest to the faculty of the colleges.

第二节. 一个月一次, 财政大臣, 副校长, 大学校长, and the EFC Faculty Fellow will join the 联合教职员参议院 meeting for a 联合教职员参议院/Administration meeting.

第三节. The 联合教职员参议院 Bylaws will govern the parliamentary procedures of the official business of the 联合教职员参议院. 主席和出席会议的成员将主持联合教职员参议院的正式事务. 80%的大学教员参议院主席将被视为法定人数.

第四节. Agendas for 联合教职员参议院 meetings will be made available at least two business days prior to every meeting. The agenda items will include only matters that a majority of the 联合教职员参议院 agrees to or affect a majority of the colleges.

第五节. The 联合教职员参议院 President will facilitate the 联合教职员参议院 and 联合教职员参议院/ Administration meetings. An administrative assistant will be present to take formal notes during the 联合教职员参议院/Administration to be provided two weeks prior to the next 联合教职员参议院/Administration meeting. 正式通知将通过电子邮件发送给会员.

第七条. 校长的权力、义务和责任

第一节. The President of UFS will edit and approve all formal communications and statements of proposed or existing policy issued in the name of the 联合教职员参议院 and electorate. 主席将向所有UFS成员索取议程项目, 并在会议前两个工作日将议程分发给所有成员. The UFS President will attend each Board of Trustee Committee of the Whole Meeting and Regular Board of Trustee meeting. The UFS President will provide a summary of meetings attended with any district administrator related to faculty matters to the 联合教职员参议院. The UFS President is available to visit with each college faculty and to attend a faculty senate meeting of each college.

第二节. 学院院长缺席时，由学院院长主持学院会议. 应总统的要求, the 联合教职员参议院 membership will represent the President and the UFS at appropriate external and internal meetings.

第八条. UFS成员的权力、职责和责任

第一节. Each member of the UFS is responsible for obtaining input from faculty regarding matters related to the 联合教职员参议院.

第二节. Each member of the UFS is responsible for communicating topics discussed amongst the 联合教职员参议院 to their respective college senators, 以及地区主委会(由主委会主持).

第三节. All of the 联合教职员参议院 members should either attend or watch the recording of both the monthly Committee of the Whole meeting and the 校董会 meeting.

第四节. The 联合教职员参议院 will identify relevant trainings for incoming 联合教职员参议院 members and communicate those offerings to the Associate Vice Chancellor of Human 资源.
